We cover some of the basics but also throw in some tips, tricks and games to keep everyone engaged. While the standard offering is aimed to be something of a "Beginner's Guide", we can tailor the level of detail to each individual group's requirements.
Course Overview
1. What IS wine? How it's made and how that can vary between different wine styles 2. The main grapes and regions 3. How these grapes and regions can influence the quality and style of wine 4. Food and wine - how to pair wine with food; what matters and what does not 5. How to identify a wine from its label 6. Tasting - how to taste; we give you the basic tool kit that will allow you to know what you are drinking and why you like it (or do not like it, as the case may be). This part also contains some fun and games designed to offer a brief intro to blind tasting and some top tips and tricks
Throughout the evening all participants will be offered a selection of wines to enjoy at their leisure whilst also having the relevant wines to match the course material.
